Welcome to India Eye!
At India Eye, our mission is to provide high quality, affordable, and high volume eye care. Our journey began in 2018, guided by the vision of Rajeev Agarwal to partner with the leading eyecare systems to expand eyecare services. India Eye Institute is a social enterprise and set up in collaboration with Dr. Shroff's Charity Eye Hospital, Darya Ganj, Delhi.
We further plan to seek clinical and operational expertise from LAICO - Aravind Eye Care System in Madurai, and LV Prasad Eye Research Center in Hyderabad. These three institutions are the largest eye care systems in the world. They offer management consulting to enhance the capacity of eye hospitals in India and many other developing countries

Our accomplished and experienced surgeons conduct at least 10 surgeries with great results everyday. Over the last year, we have conducted over 1,300 cataract surgeries.
Our NABH qualified eye hospital is located inside the Ansal Plaza Mall, next to Pari Chowk Metro Station, Greater Noida.

UP Finance Minister Virtually Breaks Ground on New ₹209 Crore Super Specialty - India Eye Hospital in Greater Noida
GREATER NOIDA, UTTAR PRADESH, INDIA – March 8, 2025 – Uttar Pradesh Finance Minister Suresh K. Khanna today presided over a virtual groundbreaking ceremony for a new ₹209 Crore (approximately US$25 million) super specialty eye hospital in Greater Noida. Vision Source, LLP is investing in the state-of-the-art tertiary eye hospital, research center, and teaching hospital. The India Eye Hospital, located on a seven-acre site in Knowledge Park 3, is expected to be operational in 2029.
The India Eye Hospital will provide comprehensive eye care services, including:
Outpatient diagnosis and treatment
Cataract surgery
Glaucoma surgery
Advanced specialized treatments for various eye conditions
The facility will feature 12 eye clinics, and 20 operating theaters equipped with the latest technology. It will also house an artificial intelligence (AI) research center focused on developing and applying AI-driven solutions for eye care. Additionally, the institute will serve as a teaching hospital, offering training and education programs for ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals.

The project is expected to create approximately 1,300 direct and indirect jobs in the region. In addition to providing high-quality eye care services, the India Eye Hospital will also promote medical value travel, attracting patients from other countries seeking affordable and advanced eye care treatments. The hospital will also be supported by a network of vision centers across the region to provide accessible eye care to local communities.
The investment will be funded by trusts and companies related to the US-based impact investors, Rajeev and Arpita Agarwal. India Eye Hospital is already working with Dr. Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital, Delhi and LAICO - Aravind Eye Care System in Madurai for clinical and operational expertise.
